Las ideas planteadas en este trabajo han inspirado un movimiento creciente de familias, educadores y comunidades que buscan retrasar el acceso de los ni\u00f1os a smartphones y redes sociales.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">La investigaci\u00f3n se\u00f1ala que, desde principios de la d\u00e9cada del 2010, la infancia ha ido desplaz\u00e1ndose progresivamente del juego en el mundo real y las relaciones cara a cara hacia lo que algunos investigadores describen como una \u201cinfancia basada en tel\u00e9fonos\u201d. Las notificaciones constantes, la comparaci\u00f3n en l\u00ednea y el consumo infinito de contenido se relacionan hoy con mayores niveles de ansiedad, depresi\u00f3n y distracci\u00f3n en ni\u00f1os y adolescentes.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Muchos especialistas recomiendan retrasar tanto el uso de smartphones como el acceso a redes sociales para permitir que los ni\u00f1os desarrollen independencia, amistades y resiliencia a trav\u00e9s de experiencias reales y relaciones humanas directas.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Tambi\u00e9n entendemos que este tipo de acuerdos funciona mejor cuando las familias act\u00faan colectivamente como comunidad. Cuando muchos padres comparten el mismo compromiso, los ni\u00f1os sienten menos presi\u00f3n social de tener un celular o redes sociales simplemente porque \u201ctodos los dem\u00e1s lo tienen\u201d.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Por esta raz\u00f3n, Gaia School solicita a las familias comprometerse a retrasar el acceso de sus hijos a smartphones y redes sociales.
